Students aged 8–16 years who are passionate about problem-solving, technology, and innovation. Do I need prior experience in robotics or coding? No prior experience is required. The program is designed to build skills from the ground up How do I progress through the levels? Progression is based on successful completion of the previous level and mentor evaluation. Is there an admissions workshop? No, admissions for Level 1 are direct. Students can register and begin their journey without a workshop. What happens after Level 4? Students graduate with a completed School Bot project and may be eligible for advanced mentorship or showcase opportunities. Are there certificates provided? Failure to follow is sufficient cause for removal from the program, as well as forfeiture of fees paid. Through this initiative, students engage in real-world research by discovering antibiotics from soil bacteria, often from their local surroundings. Tiny Earth Tiny Earth is a global research and education initiative founded by Dr. Jo Handelsman , Vilas Research Professor of Plant Pathology and Director of the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison . The mission of Tiny Earth is to tackle the critical issue of antibiotic resistance by involving students in the discovery of new antibiotics from soil bacteria.
