Launched during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the journal emerged as a response to a rapidly changing world—where remote work, online learning, and economic uncertainty were redefining how individuals live, learn, and collaborate. AI Meets Storytelling The inaugural edition introduced readers to the multifaceted world of Artificial Intelligence , exploring how AI could shape the future of humanity—from pandemic detection and social awareness to air travel transformation and ethical decision-making . Curated under the editorial leadership of Kiran Yella (Editor-in-Chief) , the journal brought together a diverse mix of industry insights and Gen Z narratives , making complex AI concepts accessible, engaging, and thought-provoking. A Platform for Gen Z Voices AIJ 1.0 positioned itself as a collaborative knowledge space , where young digital natives and professionals co-created content. The initiative emphasized that learning is not just about information consumption, but about discovering opportunities and building perspectives . Early Recognition and Impact The first edition received appreciation from academic leaders, including Hema Surapaneni, Principal, Epistemo – Vikas Leadership School , who commended the journal for its engaging content, thoughtful curation, and ability to simplify complex AI concepts . The initiative was recognized for inspiring young learners and creating a meaningful platform for innovation-driven thinking. The six-day, high-intensity bootcamp brought together policymakers, industry leaders, academic experts, and grassroots educators to reimagine the future of Polytechnic education in the state. Designed as an action-driven collaboration platform, the bootcamp focused on giving Polytechnic education a bold new avatar—one that is agile, industry-aligned, and equipped to meet the demands of emerging technologies and evolving workforce needs. Participants worked across disciplines to redesign curriculum frameworks, integrate future-ready skills, and strengthen industry-academia linkages.
