Spearheaded by Mr. Srikanth Talluri , Founder Chair of 6D.Varsity , this partnership aims to bring cutting-edge, student-powered antibiotic drug discovery training and research programs to schools and colleges across India. Founded by Dr. Jo Handelsman – Director of WID , former Associate Director for Science at the White House OSTP , and a leading expert in microbial diversity – Tiny Earth empowers students to address the global crisis of antibiotic resistance through hands-on research and mentorship. This collaboration will: Establish Tiny Earth Chapters across India under the 6D.Varsity framework Launch the School of Antibiotic Research (SoAR) initiative Provide expert training to educators and researchers Connect Indian students to a global network of young scientists The 6D–Tiny Earth collaboration is a bold step toward building a purpose-driven scientific workforce ready to solve real-world challenges through collaborative, meaningful research.
