The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Telangana organized an exclusive session on “Doing Business in the UAE – Opportunities, Structures, and Global Expansion Strategies.” The event focused on setting up family offices in the UAE, governance structures and benefits, establishing business entities across UAE free zones, and exploring the impact of CEPA, FTA, and BIT agreements between India and the UAE.

Mr. Srikanth Talluri, Founder 6D Varsity & Co-Convenor – Education & Skills Panel, in his address emphasized the UAE’s growing role as a strategic hub for Indian businesses and the unique opportunities for Telangana-based enterprises and noted that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) has opened new avenues for trade and investment, complementing Telangana’s progressive policies and India’s Atma Nirbhar Bharat vision.

The session featured dignitaries from UAE offering practical insights on structuring family offices, forming entities across free zones, managing compliance, and leveraging UAE investment authorities and the advantages of free zones, specialized clusters, and Golden Visa opportunities for MSMEs and family-owned businesses.

The discussions highlighted actionable strategies for Indian businesses to manage risks, optimize costs, and scale sustainably.

The event reaffirmed CII Telangana’s commitment to enabling global linkages, equipping member companies with knowledge of international markets, and positioning Telangana as a leader in India’s global business expansion journey.
