Ms. Usha S. Talluri (Co-Founder, 6D) and a biochemical researcher with global experience, delivered an inspiring session on "Careers and the Future in Biology"Â to high school students and parents at The Shri Ram Universal School, Hyderabad.
Her talk highlighted that while 70% of Indian biology students aim for MBBS, only a fraction succeed — yet biology offers a vast universe of opportunities beyond medicine. From synthetic biology and biofuels to neurotech, marine biotech, and bio-AI, students were introduced to cutting-edge career paths shaping India’s future.
Ms. Usha emphasized Hyderabad’s role as a biotech hub and invited students to think like Future Scientists and Techies, solving real-world problems through biology and innovation.
